Another person ashamed-to-have-been-raised-in-the-South-specifically-coastal-SC here: and I concur. Although cognitive dissonance is a wildly American trait in and of itself, it grows heavy, deep, and twisted in the South, like a poisonous vine.
My mother’s family was from a coastal island, and I think I’m related to half of the “real” Charlestonians. So many, I don’t even know most of them. When I started doing my genealogy, I found out that one specific family line ran through almost every family in that area. Hell, we’re probably cousins, too! We genealogists call the lowcountry “cousins by the dozens.” So much inbreeding! There are some batshit crazy rich people down there, and a lot of men with Peter Pan complexes. It’s an interesting place — Almost 400 years of history with no progress.
Midiclorians killed the force in this. Sorry kid, you can’t be a Jedi anymore… bantha poodoo. Other than that and jar jar, I liked it for a decent sci-fi.
The Sons of Liberty are featured in this new Ken Burns series. Burns is a stickler for historical accuracy.

This series got pretty bad reviews (other than on IMBd which is as far as I’m concerned never a reference) and indeed, especially in terms of historical accuracy, so your recommendation, Alien, is certainly most welcome here! Thank you very much for the link, which I’ve just added it to my library. Cheers! :-)
I think his Moonwalk is really Backsliding…..When he Moonwalked he did that shit forward Right ?
Two powerhouse actors in one film. This is a good one.
I remember this being spoken of, around the final episode of doctor who, where the latest doctor regenerated into Ginger Chris Evans’ ex. Can’t remember when it was supposedly airing, but now I know 🤣. Some of the spinoff stuff has been worth a watch in the past, I might have give it a go, Hopefully, it’ll be good viewing, and not ‘a bit shit’ like the latest stuff was.
Hegseth should have slammed a few mountains of coke up his nose. Whenever I look at the guy I get that coke’y guy vibe.
No! Made it through 1 and 1 half sets. If this was the final, I’m glad I didn’t bother with the heats!
worst decision ever from Beetsjunior….to hire the guy,who allegly had a wife with cancer and comes now arround with a pregnant wife.
every job he screwed up in every crew. wonder, how they write CV’s in that business :)
acall at Rick and he should know the facts

oh man there is one part in this that was hard to watch. Having had roadrash before i know how that scene actually feels. Though at least there was not picking gravel and dirt out of the wounds then scrubbing the open would involved.

Great series more to come I do believe, great job by all, always liked Dougray Scott since I saw him in the classic https://www.primewire.mov/movie/259733-twin-town
This sounds really good and no exact release date but will stream sometime in 2026. If I find a release date, I’ll make an update.
Of all the tricks they do to survive..
When I was young we had a dude in the periphery of our gang.. A little older then us other.. An artist. He used to be very dramatic.. He used to make a somersault and trow out his hands.. Soon he was throwing his head back, crying a single tear and proclame with shivering voice that he could not find true love in this world and that he was going to off himself.. after wich he was running out in the yard leaving the door open.. infallibly one of the girls, boyfriend or not, were running after him to console and save him.. I always stood with my mouth open,, Thunderstruck that such brazen trick worked and always.. I was young.. This film leave me thinking of that dude.

Wow what an odd but wonderful movie. It would move mountains to get my Murphy back and I have heard people say that having a pet pig is even more rewarding that having a relationship with a dog. Great movie with an unexpected and sad ending
Hey, I’m semi interested In this, and I remember a lot of the books from when I was a kid, think it might have been John Jakes could be wrong in that, has stuff like Centennial, as well as several other historical books, that started from WAY back in history, that spanned centuries. Got pretty heavy into those for a while, and as I recall they were reasonably historically accurate. some of that was even made into TV miniseries. Question is how much of this is historically accurate, and how many liberties were taken? I’m sure there were a few for dramatic effect, hopefully they kept that to a minimum.

Great historic mini-series. Samuel Adams is the real hero, at least to me. I wish they taught real history in school, not the shiny polished version.

“Handyman”!
Nice to see that Hollywood is continuing on with a long list of the Average Joe/Working Class who turn out to be “Fixers”, (Part-time) “Hitmen” former “Special Operators just trying to live a normal life until crime drags them back into it”…blah, blah BLAH…LOL
The Driver
The Baker
The Painter
The Cleaner
The Bee Keeper…etc, etc…
OK, found the baker, and already watched the painter, just didn’t remember it, but can’t seem to find the driver, at least not what seems to be the right movie, would appreciate it if you could shoot me a link to it when you have the time, going to go check out the baker right now.

Liked this one, and really liked how he used his tools. Thinking the Bee Keeper was the best one so far, but have not seen the Baker or the painter yet, and might have to look into the Driver, if there are any others, would appreciate it if you could up me on them. these are pretty good. Was not that impressed with the Cleaner though, was good for what it was, but one really had to suspend reality a bit for that one.
A very beautiful and present film about belonging, love of, and deep emotional connection to animals and nature. A peak in to yourself beyond the plastic scrap that cover us and our world.
Painfully touching at moments
Great doc about an iconic Vietnam photo. I’m glad the true photographer was found.
“When the truth is disregarded, that’s when society becomes corrupted.”
Good old suspense with lot’s of events happening! Loved it. Looking forward for the rest of it..
Heck yes Will’s powers are super and he didn’t scream like El used to do! Way to go William 😂. Dude wiped the nose bleeding like a WWE wrestler! Haha.. Amazing episode.
WILL “FN” BYERS!!!!!! ALWAYS KNEW HE WAS AWESOME!!!!
