This is a fun little movie. I think it was the first thing I saw Michelle Pfeiffer in. Maybe it was Grease 2

the pisser about this situation (in my case), is that I cannot give blood, and I had to take myself off my states organ donor registry…better living through chemistry, my ass 😤

She maybe could have revived him with a bite..?? And then kept him in chains until they could find a cure.. Spent her life nursing him back to life with love and intense attention. On the other hand the hansom lead is gone and leave room for a new one and she will now leave the village to be an avenger.. The town is a dead end anyway.. You can only kill so many living dead in one place before it is get boring and the dramas going civil and it end up as a “problematic” love story. So Joel kind of died for the show. A great hero that will sit on Odins right side and eat Sæhrímnir from morning to evning and have some hanky panky with the Valkyrias in between the bites. Sause on his chin and a big smile on his face.

The craziest thing about this documentary is that this came out back in 2012. Here in 2025.. 13 years later. Sadly, GMO’s and processed foods are now so thoroughly ingrained in Global food production that it is basically now unstoppable. Even in non GMO countries like Mexico, Uruguay, etc. the Monsanto chemicals and seed markers in crops have been found in and spread by the bees to nearly all crops and countries globally. :(

Yes. Grew up in an area where the military tested it on large swaths of land right on a state highway & things never grew there. Some of my neighbors were retired Vietnam military guys that had awful cancers from it as well as relatives that worked in green houses that used it & sold it. No fan of that stuff at all. Of course we all know that Monsanto got rebranded when Bayer Aspirin corporation bought them years back.

Monsanto developed and created the defoliant 2-4-D (aka Agent Orange), which was used extensively and excessively during the Vietnam era. Being on to something that had potential non military use, this product was reformulated and made available to consumers under the product name “Roundup”. Changes to the formula (to 2-4-T) did nothing whatsoever to stop the devastating and smoldering diseases that this product still creates. Use it with extreme caution ⚠️ or not at all…

From a public relations perspective, this language as advertisement is a definition of propaganda without citation of the basis for the language other than public persuasion at the expense of disclosure of the consequences for genetic tampering, such as all genetic insertions are inherently unstable, conveying this instability into whomever intakes the tampered item. These consequences include cell walls modified to retain pesticides which are then communicated to whomever consumes the adulterated item as food, increased risk of toxicity, lowered & compromised immunity, impaired digestive & mental functioning, chemical & hormonal imbalance, birth defects and actual deterioration of the genome. Farmers ability to conduct sustainable business is affected, and the biosphere is contaminated, cf; Monsanto’s unlawful contamination of Hawaii eg. food chain contamination in the biom.

Imagine my surprise when my Pulmonologist told me that I have Black Lung.

This movie was truly ahead of its time and remains just as relevant today, offering a scathing critique of the advertising industry and the manipulative power it holds over society. Through sharp satire and unsettling realism, the film exposes how advertising distorts truth, commodifies human experience, and exploits psychological vulnerabilities for profit. Long before conversations about media literacy and corporate influence became mainstream, this film dared to pull back the curtain on an industry that thrives on illusion. Its themes resonate even more powerfully in today’s hyper commercialized world, where targeted ads and consumer data tracking have taken manipulation to new heights.

The little girl in this episode reminds me of the movie The Bad Seed. Patty McCormack played Rhoda Penmark the little girl who killed. Maybe it is the pig-tails and blond hair and of course Rhoda Penmark was not a ghost. But this little girl and Penmark were evil. If you’ve not seen the movie The Bad seed from 1956, watch it.

Take what you will from this movie, but I thought it was great. The destructive power of man teaching the same rot from generation to generation versus the incredible power of nature. Explosive finale!! Literally!! My GOSH!! It’s been a VERY long time since there has been a series this Fantastic!! I still don’t understand how Gilead knew where the handmaids and June were going to be??? It couldn’t have been Aunt Lydia. So how did they know? I mean I don’t THINK it was Lydia anyhow. Was it the guard who let the maids go when they were with Lydia? Did I miss something?? Wow and Lawrence?? So proud of him and Serena Joy. I wonder if Serena will end up with Mark? They were always making eyes at one another lol. And what will happen to Hannah? I wanted June to be reunited with her girl :( wth? Anyhow, I am so so sad that it’s over. Now I will have to find another show to go ga ga over. Thank you Primewire. Thank you so so much for this site or I wouldn’t have gotten to watch this spectacular series!

Great movie. I wanted to watch it again before I watch the doc. The CGI is really good for a movie done in 93’. I believe it happened. I saw a UFO once when I lived in the country. Scientific Consensus on Safety:
The overwhelming scientific consensus is that GMOs currently available for consumption are safe for human health.
Major scientific organizations such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (.gov), the National Academies, and the World Health Organization have stated that GMOs are as safe as their non-GMO counterparts.
Studies examining health trends in regions with high GMO consumption compared to those with low consumption have found no significant differences in cancer rates, obesity, diabetes, or other health problems.
