Glad to see Annie Murphy in this. I was having a hard time remembering what this show was about but when I recognized her I was like no way was she in last season and I didn’t notice until Episode 2 of Season 2. I’m still struggling to remember what happened in Season 1 but if I didn’t drop it it must get better as the story unfolds.

Dan Brown has written a new novel to be published on September 9th called The Secret of Secrets. I have a strong feeling this book will also make it to the big screen. Yes, I know, this posting has nothing to do with a movie or tv series, just wanted to share the possibility of it being transformed into a movie.

An update: The new movie is said to have a slightly darker and grittier tone than the first 2 movies. Filming started in April so it could be released this fall or early in the new year.

Solid kid flick for a change but a Cabin in the Woods is by far the best EVER !!!

I do like war movies, but I’ve not watched that many about WWI. I think I did watch it because Daniel Craig is in this movie. Ten years later he did a WWII movie, Defiance. One actor is not listed above, and I didn’t know this until I read an article about Tom Hardy, this was his first movie. So of course, I will need to rewatch it and see if he has a small part in the movie or not.

The show is interesting but hate the 22 minute format.

Hard to watch

Since hate-speech & racist criminal organizations are federal crimes & those who engage in it are put on government watch lists & often arrested & detained indefinitely, no one associated with this show would approve of association with those crimes.

Don’t understand why all the negative comments. It was a great show. S 1 was about experience vs the impulsiveness of youth. And s2 was the struggle to stay free.

I think this is like a romantic movie for everyone, not just the ladies and sensitive types.
It’s really emotionally mature and the dialog is dense, but it all has purpose and a reason.
I remember hearing Linklater say absolutely none of it was improvised in the whole trilogy and once you’ve seen all that it’s kind of incredible if true just how well Delpy and Hawke acted their asses off.
It’s so sincere and well done and passionate.
Linklater is one of my favorite auteurs.

The fictional movie based on a “true story” is set to come out this October staring and produced by The Rock, but I suggest anyone; watch this even if your not into Combat Sports before you see that film.

Great start to this Cohen Brothers cartoon. Stereotypical gags but they fit within this show, like saying all Canadians apologise constantly, I’m sorry but that’s simply not true. lol

I’ll keep watching, they have my attention.

I definitely did not see that plot twist coming!! I was skeptical at first cause of the negative reviews but I’m really glad I followed through to the end. It was good.

The Independence Day Bill Pullman did this nifty thriller long before he portrayed Phillip K. Dick in Your Name Here. These days this flick is fairly underappreciated.

And this was a misrepresentation that we were supposed to be thrilled to spend our money to go watch, and we were also supposed to enthusiastically identify with it! THERE is the comedy!

It’s really as if this movie & others like it are a deliberate misrepresentation of our generation. We have tremendous creativity, lucidness & competence, not just in contrast to other generations, but because it’s a true fact. Mistakes. We step on those to reach our goals.

Totally - if anything, my GenX experience was not trying to figure out what to do with our lives - it was a lot of living and doing without much thinking about what we were doing at all…living through instinct and impulse.

Big ditto. This wasn’t my Gen-X. Our Gen-X didn’t muddle around in angst wearing silly costumes trying to figure out what to do with our youth. We knew. We did it. Lived our lives & did it without fabricated identity crisis.

Star was funny but how does a person apply and get on the show without knowing how to swim???

Agreed. Nice to see Jane Birkin’s daughter Charlotte as well as Giamatti in these kinds of roles, but Mr. Dinklage seems to stretch everywhere. He’s pretty good in peculiar stuff as well as comedy.
