okay this is strictly my opinion only but the more I see Amy’s boyfriend on camera, the more I believe he’s with Amy just to be on the show. This man, I’m sure is straight up gay for one thing. I know some men are feminine and not gay. I mean it turned out that her last husband way bi right? It happened to me too. My first husband turned out to be gay as well, so I am on the inside looking in if you know what I mean. I wasn’t at all surprised when my husband admitted to me he was gay. I had suspected it for almost day one, just don’t cheat on me is all I asked.

Young Sherlock (2026)
Piglet 1 points 7 months ago.

Another update: Young Sherlock’s eight-episode season is in production and will be released on Amazon Prime Video; it is currently set for a 2026 release window. But of course, no actual date yet. And there is another series that should be released in 2026, True Sherlock. Four feature-length episodes and is based on Nicholas Sercombe’s book series, The Unexpurgated Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Each episode will be a stand-alone story contextualizing Sherlock Holmes in a more modern context. Just a little trivia on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes: 137 years later, the famous sleuth holds the record for being the most-portrayed fictional character in screen history.

Glad to see Annie Murphy in this. I was having a hard time remembering what this show was about but when I recognized her I was like no way was she in last season and I didn’t notice until Episode 2 of Season 2. I’m still struggling to remember what happened in Season 1 but if I didn’t drop it it must get better as the story unfolds.

Inferno (2016)

Dan Brown has written a new novel to be published on September 9th called The Secret of Secrets. I have a strong feeling this book will also make it to the big screen. Yes, I know, this posting has nothing to do with a movie or tv series, just wanted to share the possibility of it being transformed into a movie.

I do like war movies, but I’ve not watched that many about WWI. I think I did watch it because Daniel Craig is in this movie. Ten years later he did a WWII movie, Defiance. One actor is not listed above, and I didn’t know this until I read an article about Tom Hardy, this was his first movie. So of course, I will need to rewatch it and see if he has a small part in the movie or not.

Trichinella parasites are found in the muscles of infected animals, and can cause trichinosis in humans when they consume undercooked meat. severe trichinosis can lead to complications like encephalitis (brain inflammation) or other neurological issues that might affect cognitive function, potentially causing disorientation or confusion. This phenomenon is linked to the accumulation of trichinella larvae, a type of parasitic roundworm that can infect polar bears and other animals. When humans consume undercooked or raw bear meat containing these larvae, it can lead to trichinosis, which may cause a range of symptoms, including gastrointestinal distress, fever, and in some cases, neurological effects that could potentially lead to hallucinations.

Explosive finale!! Literally!! My GOSH!! It’s been a VERY long time since there has been a series this Fantastic!! I still don’t understand how Gilead knew where the handmaids and June were going to be??? It couldn’t have been Aunt Lydia. So how did they know? I mean I don’t THINK it was Lydia anyhow. Was it the guard who let the maids go when they were with Lydia? Did I miss something?? Wow and Lawrence?? So proud of him and Serena Joy. I wonder if Serena will end up with Mark? They were always making eyes at one another lol. And what will happen to Hannah? I wanted June to be reunited with her girl :( wth? Anyhow, I am so so sad that it’s over. Now I will have to find another show to go ga ga over. Thank you Primewire. Thank you so so much for this site or I wouldn’t have gotten to watch this spectacular series!

Since hate-speech & racist criminal organizations are federal crimes & those who engage in it are put on government watch lists & often arrested & detained indefinitely, no one associated with this show would approve of association with those crimes.

Don’t understand why all the negative comments. It was a great show. S 1 was about experience vs the impulsiveness of youth. And s2 was the struggle to stay free.

Before Sunrise (1995)
Liberphile 8 points 7 months ago.

I think this is like a romantic movie for everyone, not just the ladies and sensitive types.
It’s really emotionally mature and the dialog is dense, but it all has purpose and a reason.
I remember hearing Linklater say absolutely none of it was improvised in the whole trilogy and once you’ve seen all that it’s kind of incredible if true just how well Delpy and Hawke acted their asses off.
It’s so sincere and well done and passionate.
Linklater is one of my favorite auteurs.

Great start to this Cohen Brothers cartoon. Stereotypical gags but they fit within this show, like saying all Canadians apologise constantly, I’m sorry but that’s simply not true. lol

I’ll keep watching, they have my attention.

Fountain of Youth (2025)
Kardat 8 points 7 months ago.

This film, unfortunately, has a bit of an identity crisis. At times it wants to be a Guy Ritchie film, at others, a Disney family flick. If it hadstuck to one, it would have been good. but since it doesn’t, it kinda fails on most levels. Too adult to be a movie to watch with the kids, too tame to be a pg-13 or R rating. John is his usual funny self in many scenes, Natalie is basically collecting a paycheck and barely dips into her known talent. The rest are caricatures, although Eiza was pretty good in her role, and the kid was pretty good at his.
The plot is fairly predictable while being all over the place, with some decent action scenes or preposterous CG sequences to distract you from it.
I don’t feel like my time was totally wasted, and although I wasn’t expecting to see a new franchise launch to rival Indiana Jones or National Treasure or Davinci Code, but I expected a little better than this. And I expected better from Guy Ritchie.

The Independence Day Bill Pullman did this nifty thriller long before he portrayed Phillip K. Dick in Your Name Here. These days this flick is fairly underappreciated.

And this was a misrepresentation that we were supposed to be thrilled to spend our money to go watch, and we were also supposed to enthusiastically identify with it! THERE is the comedy!

random000 4 points 7 months ago.

Most certainly that is the comedy indeed since we don’t know anyone who identifies with this uppity yuppie silliness. Not to say there aren’t people who do, but we keep better company than that (wink)

It’s really as if this movie & others like it are a deliberate misrepresentation of our generation. We have tremendous creativity, lucidness & competence, not just in contrast to other generations, but because it’s a true fact. Mistakes. We step on those to reach our goals.

Totally - if anything, my GenX experience was not trying to figure out what to do with our lives - it was a lot of living and doing without much thinking about what we were doing at all…living through instinct and impulse.

Yes, mistakes were made…

Spent 1 1/2 hours hate-watching this contribution to society for the first time since it came out in ‘94. There’s manic-pixie-nightmare-waif Winona Ryder, who seems somehow to turn men into helpless, jealous simps. There’s Ethan Hawke who is in deep love with himself and mutters dozens of cute, not-cute lines. Bad acting and bad writing explode. This movie is basically what some square screenwriters thought Generation X was all about. Good for a laugh, though.

I didn’t realize until Mitch was eliminated but as an avid Survivor fan, I’ve gotta say that 48’s Top 4 has GOT to be the best top 4 we’ve ever seen on the show by far. I don’t remember EVER wanting every single person in the Top 4 to win. Let alone all 3 or even 2. Joe, Eva, Kamilla and Kyle are some of the best people to have played this game and I would love to see any one of them 4 to come back. Heck, I would even root for Star or even David to comeback
Jeff did not lie when he said this season was one of the best. Survivor 49 has big shoes to fill from 48
